This is a great tv. I didn’t need all the smart tv features. I just wanted a big screen from Samsung with good quality and this was it. The only thing I wish it had was one more HDMI port. I have a blu ray, a cable box and I wanted to buy an AppleTV box, but it didn’t have that third HDMI port. Wish I paid for the next model up but I didn’t need all those Smart TV features. Also, I wish the SMART TV had Amazon Prime Videos. For the last three years, why hasn’t Samsung had Amazon Prime videos on their sets or Blu Rays?I must admit this is my first HD TV, but after carefully I chose this one. It was easy to setup, a breeze to use. Watching sports is amazing! Sound is great, completely enjoying this item!

This Samsung 60 inch tv is totally awesome. Absolutely worth every penny. Picture quality is outstanding. Feels like you’re looking right through a window at a live event. Tv base is adequate and won’t topple over. Audio is also adequate. Hooked up to surround sound and have no issues with sound isolation. Great tv. Picture so much better than our plasma we had that was about 6 years old. We do have surround sound and use it for better quality audio. The picture on this TV is outstanding. The LED technology really makes everything pop with its high contrast ratio. It is just as good as the best plasmas that I have seen. This set is also more energy efficient than plasmas with a $12 per year energy consumption for the 55″ model.

Something I must mention about the settings though, depending on which of the 4 picture presets you’re on, certain selections like advanced video settings become unselectable for reasons unknown. Though I pretty much left that setting untouched. Despite that, I really like the fact that settings are saved independently across the 4 presets for EACH input source. So, for example, if you have 4 connections coming in, you can have a total of 16 presets – good stuff. I also tried the PC input through vga and found the picture to be very sharp. Colors are accurate though a bit strong and text is easily readable from a few feet out and this is coming from a practically blind gamer. The audio, I found to be pretty good. The bass isn’t going to blow your neighbors away, and it’s not going to replace any home theater system, but there is a very capable, customizable equalizer on board which should help a bit. Loudness for this set wasn’t a problem for me.
